Describe VGA, SVGA, EGA and XGA monitors.

The video technology of personal computers is improving day by day. Following are some examples of Video Standard -

     (1) CGA (Color Graphics Adapter)

It was manufactured in 1981 by a company named IBM. This display was capable of displaying four colors and had a display capacity of 320 pixels horizontally and 200 pixels vertically. This display system was used for simple Windows games. This graphics is not enough for the image Was.

    (2) EGA (Enhanced Graphics Adapter

EGA was also manufactured by a company named IBM in the year 1984. 16 different colors are displayed in this mode. It's better than the CIA. Its display capacity is 640 Pixels (Horizontally) and 350 pixels vertically (Venically) The BGA system could read text more easily than the CGA, but Even after all this, it was not enough for more capable graphics.

    (3) VGA (Video Graphics Array)

VGA display was manufactured by IBM company in the year 1987. The resolution of a VGA monitor depended on the colors used in it. You can downsize to 16 colors at 640x4800 pixels or 256 colors at 320 x 200 pixels. Nowadays a lot of VGA monitors are being used.

    (4) XGA (Extended Graphics Array)

XGA was also created by IBM in the year 1990. it's 81000x6000 pixel 65,536 million colors and displayed a resolution of 1024 x 768 pixels.

    (5) SVGA (Super Video Graphics Array)

All PCs are coming in the market as SVGA graphics display system. The SVGA display system supports the display of up to 16,000,000 colors. Smaller-sized SVGA monitors display 800 pixels horizontally and 600 pixels vertically, and larger-sized SVGA monitors display 1280 x 1024 or 1600 x 1200 pixels of resolution

     Laser Printer—

Laser printer is a non-impact printer. These printers also print the differences on the paper through dots, but when the dots are very small and close together, they print as clearly as the letters. Normal laser printer owns 300x300 dot. Modern laser printers are of 600x600 or 1200x1200 or even higher resolution. The working method of printers is basically the same as that of Xerox Photo Copies machines. The only difference is the formation of letters in the form of electrical charge on the silicon pay. Bright light is used in the photocopying machine and in the laser printer a beam of laser rays is projected onto it through a modulator with the help of a mirror. This beam of light causes the light-conducting surface of the dream lion or shape-shifter to be charged. A special type of powder is put on this charged surface which is called toner. it is said. This causes letters to appear on the surface of the paper. Laser printer printing would have been best. Is. Often it prints from 30000 dpe to 600 or more resolution (Resolumon). These Printers are also more popular nowadays, because they are faster and more complete in printing Text & Graphics] in good quality.
